Sweet Holy Hell

It's been what, nearly three months?? I really gotta make up for this one... *sigh* I've missed so much stuff to talk about it's ungodly. No really. There is no way in hell that I remember everything that happened over the past while. Scroll down for a while so you can find what you want to talk about, I'll save all the Tales and Game-stuff for the end. This is going to be one helluva post.

My Birthday
Well, I vaguely remember my birthday. And by vaguely, I know that there was this unholy size of a mountain of chicking wing bones on Devon's plate. It was so ridiculous, it was amazing.

We watched two Monty Python movies. The Meaning of Life and The Life of Brian. The house nearly imploded at the spaceship scene from hordes of laughter. It was poetic. Fantastic night.

Cue huge memory gap. And I mean HUGE. I got a couple of games along the way. I'll talk later.

Lil B's Birthday
It was a sleepover. And OH GOD THERE WAS NO ROOM WHATSOEVER. No. I can't even speak of it.

As of Now
Yea, I'm just that bad.

It's the Victoria Day weekend, so we got Monday off. Long weekends=win. Woo. AND KEVIN'S BACK IN!!! Yes. This weekend radiates in awesomeness.

Yesterday was spent at Mel's. I wasn't paying much attention to anything but Zach brought over Mario Kart Wii so much fun was had. AND I HAVE FINALLY FOUND A WORTHY OPPONENT FOR BRAWL. Mitch, you're now my sworn Brawl rival. It's a battle 'till all teh stock runs out. And I will win. Because I am exploding with awesomeness. Yeah, that's right. Exploding.

Tonight was fun, too. I went over to Lacey's, about halfway through Advent Children. Hmm, who was there? Oh, yeah; Myself, Lacey, Jordan, Kenny, Windsor, Mel, Tyler, Raylene, BrandstorZ, Devon, Shannon Matt, and the other Raylene and her friend showed up after, but they didn't do anything so they don't count. I think that's everyone. Everyone kept getting mad at Tyler and Jordan because they wouldn't shut up during the movie. Fun times.

Then we walked up to the store, and had a minor parade. Kenny was playing "Should I stay or Should I go?" on Shannon's guitar, and Shannon, Jordan and BrandstorZ sung along. Albeit retardedly. At least Jordan was.

Had the first slushie of the season today!! Much win. Raylene called them slurpees. I just stared at her because she was nuts. Prairie people are weird... D'aw well. We chilled out behind the Marie's for a while, sitting on some milk crates, feeling like a bunch of skeets. We up and left, though, as soon as Lacey and Mel got they're sorry butts in gear.

Lacey had a fire pit in her backyard!! Now I smell like smoke. Wonder why. The fire would keep going out so Lacey's Dad (named Fred. Yeah, odd coincidence) would keep spraying lighter fluid on it. Then he ended up putting gasoline on it. Yeah, it was great. There's also a reason I didn't roast any marshmallows or wieners over that fire. Speaking of wieners, do you know how many wiener jokes were made around that campfire?? It was ridiculous. So ridiculous, it was HILARIOUS. Then the smoke kept getting in my eyes causing an immediate INABILITY TO SEE. Not to mention Tracey (Lacey's Mom) and Lacey would not stop taking pictures, when, in the near-pitch dark, makes you even BLINDER. It's a damned miracle I can see anything now.

Kevin kept on picking on Fred because he looks like Chuck Norris. In the past three days, I have heard so many Chuck Norris jokes, I could write volumes upon volumes of them.
"Hey, guys! One time, Chuck Norris walked into a bar with Mr. T, and the bar then was instantly destroyed because that much awesome cannot be contained in that little space!"
"Hey, there's no such thing as evolution, just a list of animals that Chuck Norris let live."
So on, so forth. So then Fred gave me five bucks to drop Kevin. I just barely got him on the rebound. and by barely I mean that when he tried to get up I leaned back on him. My take-down of BranstorZ went much more smoothly. I just got him in a headlock, spun him around and threw him. Lots of fun right there. Now I have mud all over my jeans...

The gang left early, so me, Jordan, and Windsor stuck around and chilled in Lacey's room waiting for Ma to come pick us up. we basically messed with her cat and hamstor. Causes for much lawl. Oh, and Lacey, if your hamstor dies from some form of lead poising anytime soon, it's Jordan's fault. But you didn't hear that from me.

I've got a couple of projects lined up as of right now, but let's see what I got.

Well, first, I'm doing individual pics of everyone in the group. So far I have Matt and Raylene done. And Dad also wants me to draw a picture of Him, Myself, Marina, Sheena, and Mike in anime for his birthday. That's in November. I'll just do it over the summer, or something.

Recently, we had to do a video for Language Class. It counts as art because its video, and animation. Yeah, animation. It turned out fantastic. I was amazed. Feel free to ignore Evan's rambling. Yea, I have no idea what the hell he's saying either. His acting = Fail. but it's still kinda funny. And Devon's just kind of...there. Ish.

Oh yeah.

First of all, I'm getting annoyed. Why? Because there are supposed to be more Tales of Symphonia OVA episodes. It's been, what, five, no, maybe even six months since the last one? At least some announcment or something to say that it's not DEAD. It's just not cool.

Mel totally bombed Ufotable or something and that's why there's not going to be anymore.

ANYHOW!! Been on a Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann trip lately. It's one of the best anime I've seen in a long time, and it's great to get away from all that gloony-plotty-serial killer stuff in Death Note. And Kamina is awesome. But they kill him off in episode eight. EIGHT!! FRIKKIN WEAK, DUDE! Then Simon's all ghey and emo 'till Nia comes along. It recollects awesome after the timeskip, though. Still, it's not nearly as badass without Kamina. He makes a re-appearance in the second-last episode, still radianting super-Jesus-awesomeness.

When Kamina and Leeron meet in episode two I can't help but giggle because they're like Lloyd and Zelos. Actually, they have the same voice actors...XD

While I'm at it, even though it's not anime...THEY OFFED WARRICK IN CSI. WEAAAAAAAAAK. He was bad-ass, dude.

No More Heroes
Alright, game time.

No More Heroes is alot of fun. The story follows an Otaku living in Santa Destroy, named Travis Touchdown. After some retarded series of events, he gets a beam katana and wants to become the number-one ranked assassin in the world. Conveniently, all of these assassins live in or around Santa Destroy for some disturbing reason. Go figure. The basic plot boils down to beating all of the assassins ranked above yo to reach number one.

The gameplay is fairly linear. It goes, for the most part, Do small job for $-->Do assassination job for even more $-->Go through immense beat down session-->boss-->repeat. Between each rankings battle, you can buy power ups and new clothes, but there's really isn't much else to do. It's when fighting that this game really shines.

The basics are pretty simple. Tap the A button to swing your sword. After a certain amount of hits on the enemy, a directional arrow pops up and you slash the Wiimote in that direction, and you perform a finishing move. I like this, because there isn't an overuse of the Wiimote, but there's still a bit of swinging to keep things interesting. From here on in, it can get a little intricate. You can stun an enemy, and while they're stunned, you can run up and hit B to perform wrestling moves. This proves useful when fighting bosses, but if you're hacking away, transferring between the two an be a pain.

Even so, the fights can get less interesting, or so you would think. There's also certain moves that can be preformed that pwn everything. Whenever you perform a finishing move, a slot machine runs at the bottom. If you line up slots (you have no control over this), you can enter one of several modes an be awesome.

The story is this game isn't that great, but the sets of bosses are interesting. The characters are very well written, as well. Great game.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
I got this the day it came out. What a fantastic game.

If you've played Melee, then the gameplay is basically the exact same. If you have a Gamecube controller handy, use it. It works so much better.

The graphic in this game are fantastic, along with the massive soundtrack and glorious framerate. The controls, especially in the adventure mode, can seem a little slippery at first, but you get used to them. My only real beef with this game is that they dropped Roy. They brought back Marth, but no Roy. Instead they gave us Ike, who sucks. The only person good with Ike is Zack, and he still sucks. What a slow, clunky piece of junk that guy is.

Toon Link makes me giggle because he looks so out of place. Tee hee,

The super-hyped Adventure mode, The Subspace Emissary, was fun. It can be fustrating at times, espcially during boss fights, but it's a good way to get a feeling for all the characters.

Oh, and BTW, Sonic sucks. Seriously. His Final Smash is great and all, but otherwise he just sucks proverbial balls.

YES THE WORLD IS GOING TO END. I DONT CARE. THIS GAME IS AWESOME.

Alright. The battle system for this game is God. No really. Free-Run? No random Over Limit? MYSTIC ARTES?!?

I don't like the story as much as I like Symphonia's, but there's alot more homour in this. I'm assuming to make up for the pretty dark storyline. There are alot of memorable characters in it, too. Jade, Guy, and Anise are all total win. Especially Jade. Jade is God. No. Really. He is. No argument. He just is.

For battles, I always use Guy instead of Luke. He's faster and has many of the traditional Tales attacks (Demon Fang, Sword Rain: Alpha, Tiger Blade, etc.). Jade just pwns everything, Anise's Mytic Artes are amazing, and Tear is just an obligatory healer. I don't like Luke. For the first part of the game, he's a stupid, annoying brat whose only purpose is to make me giggle by beating up Mieu. For the second part, he's an emo, right down to the wanting to kill himself. I'm surprised he didn't start wearing eyeliner. He BUGS me.

I'm glad they fixed the multiplayer in this. Devon was over last Wednesday and we played it for SIX. HOURS. STRAIGHT. Fantastic fun. We got a 69-hit combo. That's now my highest. Yes, much lawling was done.

The bosses are great fun. the battles last a nice while, but sometimes you can be dealing next to no damage to them which can be a pain, but also can be considered a challenge as well. Depletes Life Bottles like hell, though.

The plot was great, but I liked Symphonia's better. The graphics are better in this though. Everyone doesn't look like little retarded children running around. And there was actually more than one anime scene with characters in it!! And not just at the end!! Piles of awesome. The battle system is what has me latched on the most. I'm loving free-run. But it's kind of hard switching between FR-LMBS(Abyss) and ML-LMBS(Symphonia). You can dodge spells in Abyss!! If only the AI would do so, as well! *eyetwitch*

The amount of sidequests is insane, and the customization is unreal. I'm loving it. There's so many variables to the battle system. AD Skills and FSC are total win. Definitely tops the EX Gems. Now I gotta wait for Devon to finish up with Legendia so I can do...stuff in it.

Gah, I need sleep. Kevin leaves tomorrow. Faces will implode.

Man, Halo 3 looks bad ass in HD. Yes, Matt has a HD TV. It's amazing.

What is this "Lazy" That you speak of?

Yeah, I get it. Beckers is a lazy ass. Alright. Yea. Point taken. Shut up.
Anyhow, I picked up Soul Calibur Legends a while ago. Beat it in one sitting. Now, that was a ten-hour sitting mind you, but still one sitting. Fairly easy game. Only thing that pisses me off is the camera. It's terrible. You get baked into a corner and you can't see jack shit. Then, all of a sudden there's a dead Lloyd in the snow.
You don't even get any of Lloyd's actual swords from the game. In the art he is CLEARLY shown with his normal swords, but he starts off with rapiers. You get Angel's Tear for an ultimate weapon, but they look NOTHING like the ones from Tales of Symphonia. LAAAAAAME. They obviously could of just had the Material Blades instead, but no. That'd be too cool.
And when you fight Nightmare, he uses frigging Celestial Elegy on you. Not fun. I re-tried it with Lloyd. ...It looked...PAINFUL :O
The guy who did Lloyd's voice in Tales of the World came back...it doesn't sound as bad, but it's not Lloyd at all. I'm sorry. At least there's an option to have the Japanese voices in this game! :D Katsuyuki Konishi is total win.
Might end up trading it in, though.

LOL, Lloyd's your enemy in Knight of the Ratatosk. Totally a ploy to get him more fangirls...well...seeing as he has like, 30 at the most, while Kratos and Zelos have 30% of the world's population...each...

AND OH MY GOD THE SSBB UPDATES. Look's like Marth's back! No Roy though, that sucks. Oh, and A shitload of pictures over. Looks like we get Gannondorf, Ness, and the Robot-thing as well.

Definitely gotta get this game. Although, this can't be the entire roster. Maybe there's more to unlock? There were supposed to be around four or five guest characters, but so far they've only revealed two; Sonic and Snake. It's probably only the default characters, you gotta unlock more than this.

As per usual, the tales stuff goes first. Yeah, yeah, shut it.
More or less starts off with SWEET LORD NAMCO ANOTHER TALES ALREADY?? Hell, they just released Innocence and they've already got the next one; Tales of Vesperia. No word on what system, yet... But oh my God, look at the graphics. They are fantastic!! If you pause it, you cannont tell the difference between gameplay and anime. That's amazing.
As for the Tales of Symphonia OVA, I'll post about that later.

Now I have to get Knight of the Ratatosk. I really do! The old Characters are playable!! ...Or at least Colette...(Upper right screen). But YAY ZELOS IS BACK!! It's never a party if Zelos isn't there. I'm sorry. It just isnt. He's just so cool. And Lloyd's there too!! LLOYD'S AWESOME. Two swords are always kick ass.
And there's a new dude too. He seems like a Jade clone, which is alright with me. Jade was Abyss' badass. An incarnate of him in Symphonia? Fantastic. ...AND HE USES TWO SWORDS TOO!! ..This guy is totally kick ass.
And, while I'm at it, TWO DAYS TILL TALES OF SYMPOHNIA OVA EPISODE FOUR!! ...And hopefully a torrent will show up tomorrow night, with the whole international date line thingy and all. Wow, I actually learned something in Socials class! o.O But in all reality, this'll be fantastic, because they'll finally be finished that damn Journey of Regeneration. That'll mean super-emo Lloyd because Colette loses her soul and all that jazz, but I'm not complaining. She annoys me. ...And there's Yuan, and he's an extremely close second to Kratos in bad-ass-ness, so it's all good. [Yes, there will be a big-ass post for that as well]

The Blue was frozen over last week. Much slippery fun. Much, much fun.
Last Friday we all went to Mel's house (surprise, surprise), chilled, played some Guitar Hero, went outside. It was freezing cold. Shannon jumped off the Thunderwall and possibly got his foot owned. Not surprised.
The little bowl looked like it was full to the top with snow. Devon went to jump in...
And it was all ice. He got back out, and then Evan came over.
"Is that all snow?"
"Yep!"
Ahaha, we're mean. Keating was doing flips and stuff off the Thunderwall. Then Jordan tried to do a flip, then stopped part way through then fell off the Thunderwall. It was quite funny.

AND HA! WE DID GET MONDAY OFF DAD! HOW D'YA LIKE THAT??? Yeh, Dad was saying that the huge storm was gunna turn to rain, I said 'no wai'. It did, but It brought down a ton of snow first, so we got off school. All were happy.
I don't know what we did yesterday. I have a memory lapse.
Oh, and we're starting a band. Yea. Why? Because we're awesome. The lineup is going something like this;

Reggie - Bass
Shannon (Hopefully) - Guitar
Me (aka BECKERS) - Vocals
Mel's gunna do something
Keating - Drums

As you can tell from the title of this post, we're naming the band "Group". That's right, Group. Why? Because we can do that. We're just that cool. We're not including Jordan in on this. Why? Go ask Reggie. Seriously. There's an extremely good reason.
Shannon's amazing at Guitar (Although he's moving so ehhhhhh), I'm not bad at vocals (We weren't gunna let Reggie have at it. Sorry, man.), Reggie's learning bass, Keating has some drum connections (I do believe), and Mel...well...that;s up for debate, really. We were thinking backup vocals, but we're working on it. Yeah, that's it.

Screw Montreal and everything that has happened in the aproximate two months that has happened since I last posted, that'll take forever.

I've been going nuts with No More Heroes videos on my Youtube account lately. It looks like a fantastic game. I really, really want it. It comes out in February! What perfect timing!!
Assassin's Creed is a fantastic looking game. Sam Fisher has nothing on Altair. You can grab onto ANYTHING in this game. ANYTHING! The wristblade-thingy is a total bonus as well.

Now onto Adventures.

Got my Report Card for 1st term back last week. I got a 74 in English (because Mr. MacDonald is a bitch), got a 75 in Math (Dude, It went up!!), a 90 in Science (Holy Shit!), a 92 in Social Studies (Holy Shit again), and a 97 in French. I always do swell in French :)

Last Sunday was hillarious. First snowstorm of the year, and the power goes. Turns out the whole Avalon and Bonivista Peninsulas went. I was sitting at the computer at the time.
*Lights flicker, go out, Computer turns off. Beckers reaches into desk drawer, whips out lighter. Finds DS. Puts away lighter. Turns on DS. Goes downstairs* "Hey Mom, power's gone!"
Ours was only gone for an hour or so, but on the Bonivista Peninsula there were alot of places out up until yesterday.

Anyhow, now we finally have snow on the ground! Much fun. Too bad we're not allowed to build snowmen at lunch, for no good reason. It's also a bitch walking to the bus stop because they don't clear the sidewalks here, the drivers are bastards, and we don't even have sidewalks on the side of Bay Bulls Road. Goddamn.

I have a new winter jacket now! It's all badassery and such. The only bad thing about it is the leopard print on the inside. >.<>.> Aw, hell.

Today was a half day, so I just stayed home anyways. I'll write about tomorrow...well, tomorrow if I'm not too tired when I get back from Mel's.

This is about where my memory of the dialouge gets fuzzy, but I think he says something along the lines of: "If you get rid of the Exsphere, how will you fight the Desians?"

Lloyd goes to chuck it again, but,

Kratos stops him.

"Mom died...because of this thing!"

He drops the exsphere. You know, I always thought that they were perfectly round, like a sphere, but they're actually hemi-spheres in the anime. That's a little weird.

Kratos's eye.

Kratos picks up the exsphere, probably because he knows that Lloyd might eventually change his mind.

And he walks away. He's persistent, isn't he? Never giving up after only one try. Nope. Not him.

Lloyd collapses to his knees. (First person to make a crack at that one gets the Eternal Sword shoved through their skull)

Aw, jeez, he's going to start crying again. He cried like what? Once? maybe twice in the game, which is a total of about 80 hours including side quests? This is twice in the space of fifteen to twenty minutes.

Kratos being all "I no show emotion"

He begins to wonder here if what Kvar said was actual true. Which, I'm sad to admit, it is.

If you can't get the jist of it, Lloyd is upset at the fact that he was so caught up in his own problems, that he didn't notice Colette's suffering.

Much dance tomorrow. Actually gunna go to dances this year. I don't know why. Gots nothing better to dos. Hope there's another mosh pit. That would be freakin' awesome.

Lunch today was fucked up the anus hole.

Firstly, some person did an attempted suicide in the girl's washroom, and passed out, so the ambulance was called. When you stand at your locker and see paramedics and a stretcher go by, you never feel safe o.O
So, we went outside, and they kicked us all off school grounds only cuz of the ambulance, so it was myself, Reginald, Mel, Lacey, Ray(lene), Tyler, and Josh. We decided to walk up towards the Blue. Then we decided "HAY LETS GO TO THA FIELD!!". The stupid people went forward while me and Joshamafer took one of the patented seventh-grade shortcuts. We got there ahead of the others, and saw a bunch of people.
Oh yeah, the fight!
Ah- Let me explain. Apparently, Evan and Anthony were gunna fight. This just so happened to be a lunchtime, in that very same field.
*Sigh*
The other had just gotten in, when approximately 200+ teengers come charging in our direction. Away from the school.
This is when ME and Josh simultaneously yelled out, "OH SHIT!!"
We booted, and I managed to hear people yellin' the the Vice Principal was coming. That is bad. Very Bad.
Barely managing to avoid getting trampled to death/ultamite judgment, by slipping back towards the Blue, we took a moment to catch our breath. We decided that it would be best to head back towards the school, and possibly hang out in the back 'till second lunch.
We just pass the "pond", when a crapload of people start coming towards us on the path, running.
More teachers.
One again, barely escaping tramplement, we dove into the trees. It was our little group, around three or four seventh graders, and Murph and Adrian.
I pity Mel, Lacey, and Ray. They looked a little intimidated.
Well, Ray did.
I was mostly trying to watch where I was walking. After a couple of minutes, Reggie STFU'd, and we tryed to stay quiet by walkin on the moss.
Well, most of us.
Did I ever tell you how big'a n00bs seventh graders are? The kind that never Shut up.
Ever.
Lots of swearin at them XD
they Finally shut up, and then we saw that Tyler, Mel, Lace, and Ray had run off (This leave me, Josh, and Reggie from our gang). The VP was coming our way. We ran up to the fence ridge, but since we were all mostly wearing black, and the fences were white. Well, yeah. Even someone blind from birth could figure that one out.
We dove down into the trees again, waiting. Myself, Reg, and Josh were all huddled together in a bunch of shrubbery. Awkward, yes. Effective? Apparently so.
Eventually, it was all clear, and stealth was no longer needed. We all headed back out to the school.
Josh, Reggie, and I ended up running into Evan in the Lunch Line. We could hear people talking about how he supposedly pussed out, but he tripped up in the ridge or somethin. He didn't look like he was in bad shape at all, but I'll just lave that one to the masses.
So we ate, the bell rang, and that was our day.
I think the apocalypse is coming. Lacey was being nice o.O

That's all I feel like typing for now. I guess I'll kinda leave. Now. Yeah.

These past few weeks, I have seen the world move on without Tales of Symphonia, and I have decided that maybe I should too.
That's right people. I am playing through Symphonia for the FINAL TIME.
This does not mean that I will be giving up being entirely obsessed with it, it's just that video-game wise, this is getting a little sad. I haven't even finished Twilight Princess yet. That is bad. And with all these awesomely bad-ass cames coming out soon, I NEED to get a head start on those. At least before Reggie.
Will this mean that I will stop writing about ToS, or doodling Lloyd in the middle of class? Hell no. But, this is my last time guys.

Yes, I was playing it! It's really fun. I never got far, though, because I only got in around 40 min tops of gameplay. My person's a guy, because I'm a n00b when it come the Playstation button layout (I never play XD), and he is named ER. Yes. ER. BEST NAME EVER.
It took a little trial and error to figure out the buttons, but I got the hang of it. It was really cool seeing all the different Tales characters. Even in the first few minutes, I got to see (half-in order) Chester from Tales of Phantasia, Raine and Kratos from Tales of Symphonia, Arche from Tales of Phantasia, Genis (WOOO GENIS!!!!!1!!) from Tales of Symphonia, Reid from Tales of Eternia (to hell with the U.S. titles, it's Tales of Eternia, dammit!), Luke and Tear from Tales of the Abyss, and Senel from Tales of Legendia! Very cool. I got to see almost all the people from Tales of Symphonia who are in it, except for Lloyd. Then again. I'm not that anxious to see him.
Why? Because Namdai are evils!
Basicaly, they couldn't get the guy who did his voice in the first place to re-do Lloyd's voice, so they had to get someone else to do it.
AND SWEET LORD HE SOUNDS LIKE A PREPUBECSENT RYAN TRACEY.
I know this because I've seen video of it on Youtube.
But, alas, Lloyd is Lloyd.

Everybody was very afriad of me, finally seeing my obsession first-hand.
Okay, that's that. Me and Reginald went halves on a pizza. Gave to slices to Josh for playing his PSP. Mel went to some War Child march thingy, I wasn't really paying attention since I was absorbed by Mormo the talking-death-cat-thing-that-flys talking to Kratos.
Yeah.
I basically yelled out "Honk if your Horny!" when they went by and continued on.
After sitting on the picanic tables, drinking some Pepsi, and dying in a dungeon ("Oh, so it's CONTROL STICK to free run!"), and living again, and being told off by the Bastard Mercenary, came the even of the day.
I was killing weird boar things with a new arte when Josh yelled in my ear; "Are you oblivious to everything around you??"
"Yes, why?"
"Just look!!"
I turned around, putting the battle on pause, and saw a bunch of kids running towards the Blue. Just before I could yell out "WTF?", I noticed the smoke coming off the back of the building.
And before I could yell out "SWEET HOLY JESUS!", Reggie had ran inside.
To get his copy of Halo 3 which was in his locker.
And I totally don't blame him.
After a slight bit of debating, ("But I need to find a potato!" "Beckers, come. NOW!" "Yes, sir!") we went around to the back of the school, going the long way 'round since we didn't want to get trampled.
"Holy crap!"
The trees were ON FIRE! It was at the entrance to the Blue, you could see the flames and there was a crapload of smoke and EVERYTHING!
Oooooohhhhhhhh man, was it cool!
We stood there for a bit, even after the bell rang, we stuck around for a few minutes. When we went inside, we had to go to home room. After around half of fourth period, it was over. the fie department had put it out, but our homeroom stank of smoke. Mostly because it's RIGHT NEXT TO THE BLUE.
During the wait, however, Reggie brought up the point that the Blue was on fire, which we're right next to.
And we're also right next to the propane tank.
Which is right next to the Blue.

Go figure.
Anyways, that's pretty much my day today. Home alone for pretty much the rest of the night. I'll find something to occupy myself with.

In reality, though, we left around 11 Am to go pick up Mel, picked up food along the way in the form of a chocolate Ice Cap, a Cinnamon Roll, and a croissant fer Melaners (Mom already ate). About halfway up the parkway, you know you're at a good start when you forget the freakin' map. I'm not blaming anyone, since my stupid gene was inherited from both sides of the family so I was doomed from the beginning. Dad's a little more dunce than Mom, but they're generally both smrt people, it's just I got all the stoopid. I'M AWESOME *shotkilledbyparents*
...MUST. STOP. RAMBLING, DAMMIT!
So, we got Melaners and her boogie/booger/mucus board, and after a chat with Mel; ("Hi Mel.""Hi Beck--""Shaddap, I'm playing Pokemon"), I occupied my time with playing Pokemans. Next thing I know, we're at the Ultramar getting ice for the cooler.
"Dude, what about the map?"
"We stopped at your house to pick it up, remember?"
"...No."
"Get your face outta Pokemon, stupid!"
"NEVAH!"
This car trip is only going to get more entertaining, so stay tuned.

So, off we go. Myself and Mel in the backseat in charge of the map, and Mom in front driving because shes:

The only person with a license.
The only one who can drive standard
The only mildly sane person
I'm the only other one who can drive ANYTHING, and my attention span is the shits.

After I get bored of Pokemon, Me and Mel start making comics using Pictochat. this is much fun. Especially when Reggie is brutally murdered by Lloyd Irving because he insulted Lloyd's suspenders.
...Best. Brutal Murders. Ever.
So we continue down the highway, Mel claiming that her father is actually Sasquatch(Bigfoot if yer not Canadian), which is entirely believable because of the sheer hairiness of the man. Mom Said that our exit was probably coming up soon, so to look at the map to see what it was.
So I look the map (heaven forbid I let Mel, because her navigation history isn't as good as mine...and mine's solely built on 'the 'Guess and Check' principle, then again I was mildly hogging the map. ONLY MILDLY!), and the best exit to take would be Route 70.
...We've gone past it.
Allrighty then...next best thing is Route 71, which takes us through a dirt road for a little while, but later connects with Route 75, then route 70.

Gah! This is proof nobody listens to Beckers!! Just because it's a dirt road doesn't mean we're lost!! Hell, in my Bathroom Reader it says that there's a 75% chance that a public road in Canada ain't gunna be paved! Thats, like, big!

Moving on. If you read that article, you'd notice that a bridge in Spaniard's Bay was out. I failed to remember this, and the original way out (following the shitmap), took us across that bridge.

No this doesn't end well.
So there's a detour. Did I fail to mention this doesn't end well? No? Well, the hell with it. It doesn't end well at all.
This detour is vaguely marked (BUY SPRAY PAINT FOOLS), with just an arrow on a sign.
...It took us long enough to find the only road that went in that general direction (Newfoundland community planning is the shits). We go down that road...

So we finally find th new highway or whatever, and we get to the turnoff that heads straight by Harbour Grace and Carbonear, which are right on the way to Northern Bay Sands.
I never even knew that this highway existed. (Our map sucks balls, remember?).
...Mom goes right past it when It's obvious that I'm yelling my facking guts out for her to turn left.
...If only we hadn't missed that very first exit...
So then, we end up going back into Bay fackin' Roberts.
"I feel like we're going in circles..."
"MOM! WE ARE GOING IN CIRCLES!"
Yes, I had lost my patience by this point. It was like Toronto all over again...

So, we end up yelling at each other. Well, just me and Mom. Mel just prayed for her well-being. I don't blame her. We're loud enough without yelling! : D
Er, righteo. Somehow, we managed not to murder each other. We came close. Poor Mel. She's traumatized for life, now.
We made it back on the second run through, and got onto the highway, a.k.a Route 70 those looking at Google Maps.
...Ha, Routes, that kind of reminds me of Pokemon.
So, eventually, we made it. Sanity hanging by a thread.
Now, you see, that day when we had left, it was gunna be around 14 degrees there.
It was definitely warmer. Which was weird, since we're next to the ocean, and further north...
And this is the freaking NORTH ATLANTIC! I mean, Labrador Current kills us. Water's flippin' FREEZING in July. This was August, so it's tolerable.
..It's not that bad, really. It's nice on really, really, hot days. Like a cold shower except salty!

Mom doesn't like swimming in the ocean (make your own joke if you know anything about her background ;P), so she seemed plenty thrilled to kick back and read.

Okay, I'm good. Nah, really, I'm good.
I've been writing this for an hour and a half now. CANT STOP.

At northern Bays sands, there's a river and waterfall on the far side of the beach from where you come in.

Err...Anyways.
As you can see, to get to the river, you have to go through the ocean because it was high tide. Or rising sea levels because the polar ice caps are melting because of global warming. Whatever floats yer boat.
And the ocean (LABRADOR CURRENT!) was freezing the first time.
...Freaking, freezing.

Well, we went in the river fer a little bit. We got bored and went into the ocean (COLD COLD COLD...okay, legs are numb, I'm good), and were SUPER AWESOME.
But the waves weren't very big (and Mel sucks at boogerboard. I helped her get the timing at first, since that's hard), so we got bored after a while. Went back in the river, got bored of that even faster, so we decided to go to the capsules' big brother up stream.
...It was...so nice...
You can swim right up and get under the waterfall and its like getting a massage. So...awesome...
Mel wanted to go further down. Thats a no-no in Beckers' book.
Why must Mel convince me to do stuff every single time? Yarrrrg...
We got partway there, and the current was hella strong. It was extremely shallow, though, so we just stood up (Mel fell over XD) and walked back into Capsules' big bro.
...Then, surprise surprise, WE GOT HUNGRY.
...Hay, I'm hungry right now...*grabs chips*
Continuing on, We went back to where Mom was (on beach 1)--
You know, before I go any further. I can't walk in flip flops at all. I freaking hate them! DAMN FLIP FLOPS!

Continuing on, we went back. Mom had sammiches, pop, chips, and many other snack foods fer us.
Sammiches freakin rock. Mel. Eat Sammiches. My favorite food. Yes, more than french fries. Damn third grade >.>
So, we had something to eat. Then Mel wanted to be buried.
...We complied.

And after playing in the mud ("THEYRE GUNNA FIND A BECKERSAURS IN A BAZILLION YEARS AFTER THE SUN EXPANDS AND ALIENS VISIT AFTER WE ALL DIE!!...Don't roll your eyes at me, Mel. That's mean."), so began the WAVE BATTLE.

...My imagination is SO BAD ASS!!

Anyways, huge wave came in, and I summoned ROCKS TO COMBAT THE EVIL OCEAN TRYING TO---

*dragged away, sounds of someone getting the shit beat out of the are heard. Mel drags Beckers back, covered in DEAAAAAATH*
Melaners: WHAT REALLY HAPPENED, DUMBASS!!!
Beckers: YES M'AM! *salute*

...Okay, okay, I played it up a tad. Shut up inner Melanie. You smell.
Basically, a shitload of huge waves came in, I went all super cool...and Mel joined in, so we created a new SUPERHERO TEAM.

Hence the name of the post.

...And we saved the Beach from being un-awesome.

Urg. I'm bored so I'm gunna write some stuff...n stuff. Yeah.

Anyways. Gonna go to Northern Bay Sands on Thursday--DUDE HI MEL! Uh, MSN, sorry. Mel and Lacey are gunna tag along. This is going to be one hulluva car trip.

We're apparently supposed to have Thundarr and Lightning tonight, or early this morning (like, 3 AM XD). I hope we do. I love thundarrstorms. Except for the fact that you gotta get of the computer. Otherwise, it's plain freakin awesome. We got caught in one last month. Me, Mel, Tara, Tyler, Michelle, Tone, Zack, and Jordan were hanging out in the park by the new subdivision when it started to rain. Rain's no big deal (TILL SHE GOES INTO RUIN MODE! *shotkilled* Bad tales pun, I know), untill BOUCH! THUNDARR! ...Bouching Thundarr XD I'm awesome. Anyways, Tara and Michelle ran to whereever the hell, Mel hopped on her bike and went straight home (followed by shouts of 'chicken!'), Tone's nan lived nearby so she went there...but the rest of us weren't allowed in.
So here we are, four teenagers huddled under playground equipment for shelter in the middle of a god forsaken thundarrstorm.
Whohoo.
As you can tell, by the end of this, I came up with my newest catchphrase, "BOUCHING THUNDARR". Because I'm just that awesome.

This weekend, Shannon came over. Dad took us to the driving range. Blah Blah Blah SHANNON HIT THE FRIKKIN BALL Yadda Yadda Yadda. Went back to the house, I pwned Shannon in Guitar Hero II. Then we played Smash Bros. Super Sudden Death with 99 stock is amazing. Truly amazing. It's a barrel of monkeys suffocating from laughter. Really.
We went down t store, got some junk food, watched some TV, ate some wings, ate some junk food, I bet Tales of Symphonia once again (Someone, please, stop me), and that was pretty much it. After hannon left, Dad and Marina went out to some thing, so I sat on the couch with some Chips and Dip and watched ordered Princess Mononoke on ROD. I turn it off and go to see what's on YTV. Guess what's on? PRINCESS FACKIN MONONOKE.

My timing is fan-freaking-tastic.

That's the highlights of my weekend. Mildly amusing. Well, that thundarrstorm happened a few weeks ago, but, aw, hell.

HOLY CRAP I GOT A NEW BLOG

Okay, new blog, gunna keep this half-clean. I guess.

Posts going to be divided up into three main chunks;Gaming new/reviews, Becker's Art, and Adventures. That way, it's going to be half-organised. MY Youtube videos are neatly kept track of under the blog heading, so my game videos and stuff can be gotten to easy without exploding the blog. I'll be keeping all Youtube videos to links. I'll put up images of buddies and my art (I'll resort to a camera, dangit!) as I feel like it.

As for Reviews, they can come in two ways, video and written. Trust me, the written ones will be a little more...tasteful.

Aw well. I guess thats that. I'll go fix sum stuff up now and be all cool.
